LED Light Therapy

Project3LED light therapy is a relaxing treatment using specific light wavelengths (colors) to improve the skin and underlying tissues. The colors employed are typically red, blue, green, and yellow. These healing wavelengths penetrate the skin causing photo-stimulation, a cellular rejuvenating process that has been clinically proven to improve a wide-array of skin conditions. The result is softer, clearer, healthier and younger looking skin.

RED  LED Light Therapy is clinically proven to increase circulation, induce collagen production and accelerate cellular repair. Red LED light is used to improve fine lines, pigmentation problems, scars, and to increase collagen production.

BLUE  LED Light Therapy is clinically proven to improve both inflammatory and non-inflammatory acne conditions. Blue LED light also helps to sooth sebaceous glands to improve and regulate oil production.

GREEN  LED Light Therapy may help to reduce pigmentation by minimizing melanin production as well as decreasing stress levels. Research has linked Green LED light to decreased production of both melanin and the stress hormone cortisol precursors.

YELLOW  LED Light Therapy is believed to help with detoxifying and increasing lymphatic drainage. It is believed to have a soothing effect, making it ideal to use after facial procedures or on inflamed skin.

The number of treatments necessary to achieve the desired results will vary depending on the patient’s needs. Typically, treatments are scheduled with at least 48 hours between treatments. For skin rejuvenation, weekly treatments may be most beneficial. In cases of acne, once the desired effect has been achieved, treatments can be decreased to less frequent maintenance sessions depending on your specific condition.
